I am a proud graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University. I earned my Masters in School Counseling from Lamar University. I have been in education for 26 years and I have taught at all elementary levels. I started my counselor role as the Student Services coordinator in 2015 where I was split between Lindale Early Childhood Center and EJMoss for 2 years.  I was also the sole counselor at ECC for 3 years. Now I am the proud counselor at Velma Penny Elementary.

I have been married to my high school sweetheart for the past 24 years. We are the proud parents of 2 boys, ages 16 and 13.  As a family we love to watch sports, go swimming and boating on the lake, go to the beach and spend time with family and friends. Watching our boys play baseball and tennis takes up most of our time.
