Hello my name is Katie Standerfer and I am honored to be the Assistant Principal at Velma Penny Elementary. Velma Penny’s hallways are always filled with warm welcomes, helpful staff, and high energy. There is a true sense of community at VPE and it is my privilege to continue the vision and mission that has already been established here.

 

My leadership style is rooted in collaboration, transparency, and a commitment to continuous campus improvement. I believe that a combination of effective instruction and strong leadership can make a school successful. I am passionate about implementing strategies that promote academic excellence and create a nurturing environment where every student can thrive.
