It is a joy to serve as the principal of Velma Penny Elementary! I have had the privilege of being raised in Lindale where I attended Lindale ISD from Kindergarten through 12th grade. I am a graduate of both Stephen F. Austin State University and UT Tyler. My teaching career began at EJ Moss teaching Fifth Grade, and I served as the Theater Director at Lindale High School for 7 years. 

 

Having served as the Assistant Principal at VPE for the 23-24 school year, it is such a pleasure to now lead it as Principal. At Velma Penny Elementary we desire to encourage growth and academic excellence in each student as we help them reach their full potential!

 

We hope that each student at Velma Penny Elementary is led to become individuals who are Respectful, Responsible, and Ready for Success!
